Valentina Marocchi is one of the most successful divers in the world. Her outstanding talent shined since she wes very young. Her first big win was in 2002 when she won the Italian championship in the 10 meter platform synchro followed by a bronze medal in the same competition. This wasn't everything Vale did that year, she also reached the European final.
The following year (2003) was even bigger for Valentina. She won two Italian gold medals, one in the synchro and another in the singles. It was the first time Valentina win the Italian crown, and it was the first step toward the glory.
In 2004, Valentina won the Italian championship, but by that time, she started to focus on the bigger things, which is the European medals, and that exactly what Vale achieved. She won two bronze medals in the synchro and in the singles to be one of the best Italian divers in the whole history of diving.
This year, was a real hard year for Valentina. A lot of tournaments and training camps. Not only that, but Valentina's studies , which is as equal in importance as her diving career, conflicted whith the dates of the diving competitions, the thing that made it harder for Marocchi to be in the best shape.
